  • Lots of places to hike around. Nice camping area. Great place to cool off in the water. We go here often to chill.

  • Peaceful. Whenever I go there is a lack of people and an abundance of nature. The restrooms are well maintained and parking is easy. ✨ very accessible for my special needs child. With an easy natural slope, walking to the beach was easy for him. Lots of open space for him to be him, without even disturbing the birds. Life jackets stations are a plus.✨
  • It was a nice park, plenty of picnic areas, restrooms were clean, the shower stalls roomy and free. They also had water jugs for drinking outside of the restrooms. The rangers were very welcoming and helpful. We camped over but there was day use areas. The river was a short walk away perfect for floating and paddle boarding.
  • The best river beach I've been to in the Portland area. Very busy on the weekends, but enough parking that we were able to find a space, and more than enough beach and nice shade. Beautiful water, good for a swim! I'll be back as often as I can.
  • Plenty of room to roam around and explore the woods and river. We went for a brief visit, and got a surprise sleet storm, so didn't get to explore as much as we wanted, but will definitely be coming back soon with the fly rods and to do some hiking.
  • So much to see! Both along the way and when you get to the main area. Great for day use and overnight camping! Beautiful area for walking along the river, fishing and swimming!
