  • Hard to imagine how it looked like 150 years ago. But, it had good signs that were interesting to read. Lots of little museums and activities within a 10 minute walk.

  • There's not much to see or appreciate at first glance but the information boards really help fill the gap, allowing visitors to imagine the size and scope of the arsenal in its heyday. With enough funding, they may be able to commit to a faithful reconstruction of the arsenal, based on archaeological findings and historical archives.
  • Yet another well explained part of the park about the Arsenal that stood at this point
  • Seen this place in fall and spring and it is beautiful. Love to come here.
  • Beautifully restored and maintained, considering how many times the Fort has been dismantled & moved throughout its history! The NPS has done a great job to preserve this important landmark for abolition, and it’s not too far from its original site (as marked by nearby bricks & gravel).
