  • Definitely take the time to walk across the bridge when visiting Harpers Ferry. Great views. Can be crowded, though.

  • Stroll across the footbridge, and if you're lucky enough, a freight train will rumble alongside you.

  • The view from The Point is spectacular! It’s a great location to see the two rivers converging, and you can also see the mountains and the bridge to the Maryland Height all from this point. If you don’t want to do a strenuous hike, then taking pictures from this point should already be good enough. Not necessary to hike up to Maryland Height.
  • Wonderful view of the rivers coming together. If you’re in harpers ferry definitely stop by! We came after sunset in the late evening and it was still beautiful.
  • Beautiful place to enjoy a good view of the connecting rivers! The railroad runs pretty close and I didn’t know this at the time but the Appalachian Trail runs close! It’s definitely a historic area to see if you’re in the area!
  • Great place for hiking , a lot trials , biking trials also , walked along the river , we found parking in a public parking area on Shenandoah rd , .08 miles to the point ! Fun afternoon 5-12-22
  • Beautiful place to see the Potomac river snd Shenandoah river meets! And to see the old bridge ruins was also beautiful! Love to see this historic place
