A very cool store of historic candies. The variety is amazing and transcends centuries of candies! The oldest known chewing gum was fun to buy! They also have bugs that you can eat! A must visit place in Harpers Ferry town

True Treats is a truly unique historic candy experience! A good deal of their candy is based on historically researched recipes from the 1500s-to the present. The candy is delicious. If you are in the area, this place is definetly worth a visit!

A really neat shop in Lower Town. Woman behind the counter was kind and helpful. They have interesting treats, such as Turkish Delights and Mann Salwa. The Biblical Treats section of the store is interesting. A suggestion -- it would be great to have even more context about the history of the treats, such as pamphlets with each item. It's tough to learn more about some of the treats from online searches; I am definitely more curious about the Mann Salwa and also the specific take of this store's Mann Salwa.

Very interesting place to visit! We stopped by on a suggestion from the innkeeper where we were staying. They said it’s the only historical candy company in the US I believe. Loved how they had it laid out with each era. We bought a few things for ourself and to take back to our family.

cashier was friendly and they have a wide variety of unique snacks, candies, teas, and toys. prices are kind of high but the experience is nice.
