As far as tasting goes it is reasonably priced but don't like the plastic cup experience. As far as tasting room/patio seating area it lacks personality and comfort. As far as wine goes they are fine.... more

Mount Felis Vineyards is based in a 1830s estate with great views of the Chesapeake Bay. Signage at the entrance on the main road is very minimal, and I have missed finding and visiting the place...

Loved the customer service and the wines were some of the best of the day! I ended up with the Strawberry Jam wine and the Pumpkin chardonnay. Super tasty and worth the drive. The owner, Mary, was so personable and warm. Loved how she shared info about her home and all the wineries that were apart of the Gunpowder Wine trail. Will definitely be neck in the fall for the cheese event.

Had a wonderful time with friends. That atmosphere is inviting and that staff are awesome. The only downside is there is no food for purchase other potato chips. Great view of the Chesapeake Bay in the background.

Best birthday party I’ve had in years! Thank you for making us feel so welcome! Rain or shine we had a blast!

Went here on Sunday around 4pm. Decided to try a flight of both the sweet and the dry. All of the wine was pretty terrible, especially the dry. No flavor at all in the dry, and the sweets were very strange flavors. I was curious why all of the dry wine were blends and when I questioned the younger girl working the counter, she said she didn't know why, it was just "artist's choice". While I understand the concept, a straight Cab would have been nice. The women working here are not very pleasant, nor do they tell you anything AT ALL about the wines and how they are fermented, aged, or bottled. If the owner is an "artist", why do you tell me absolutely nothing about him/them? I knew nothing about the place when I got there, and nothing when I left. We were in town for the day, but certainly don't make this a special trip, you will be very disappointed, especially if you prefer true wine tastings from knowledgeable staff. You won't find that here. Unfortunately, this place is yet another example of someone just trying to make money by pushing flights and sending you on your way, instead of providing true customer service. Then they charge over $20 a bottle for terrible tasting wine.

Great place to buy a cold, tasty bottle of wine, sit under the tree, and enjoy the view, which stretches to the bay. We recommend a tasting of the wines to figure out what you'd like to buy. Pleasant and helpful staff. And, if you're so inclined, you can buy a bucket of golf balls and drive them into the field. But it was very nice to just sit and relax for a while. When the weather's not cooperative, there's a comfortable area to sit inside as well. They occasionally have events featuring music; so be sure to check their website to see what's coming up. The "facilities" consist of a line of port-a-potties, but they were surprisingly unobjectionable.
