Shaun did a great job with our cave tour! Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff and doggies to greet you - what can be better? Also, it’s nice not to have the pressure for everyone to taste and pay crazy money for the tasting. This visit reminded me why I fell in love with this region 20 years ago!

Truly outstanding!! If I could give more stars I would! Pamela helped us with a wine tasting, and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the different wines, the regions in wine country, and dining in the area. We even got a bonus pour and she pretended that we had a coupon. Along with the samples, we got a glass of Pinot Noir and Rose. Everything is delicious, with my favorites being the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and the Organically Grown Cabernet Sauvignon. You can also walk around the vineyards, which is super cool. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful tour and tasting. It’s a very laid-back atmosphere and incredible property with very beautiful wines that over deliver for the price. I really enjoyed being able to tour the caves. This is a stellar property, immersed in history. This is one stop not to be missed!

Many thanks to Denise, our tour guide, and the Wetzel family for their generous hospitality during our stay at the vineyard in the restored Alexander School House. Our business trip quickly turned into a very relaxing and romantic second honeymoon for us. We thoroughly enjoyed your outstanding wines, beautiful property and the opportunity to wander the vineyard at our leisure. Visiting AVV is a must for anyone coming to the Alexander Valley!
