Formed from two separate streams merging into the twin waterfall, Anna Ruby Falls provides hikers with a quiet respite in the center of a national forest. The falls are accessible via a 0.8 km (0.5 mi) paved trail from the parking lot and features benches along the way. Winding along Smith Creek, the trail gives information on the local environment; you can admire the waters merging into Smith Creek from the viewing point. The Lion's Eye trail is a specially designed route for the visually impaired, providing handrails and braille signs. Head to the visitor center for tickets. A gift shop sells local crafts and paintings next door. Remember to pack good walking shoes, as the paths can be slippery and wet. Well worth the hike. It's only 0.4 miles to the falls. Asphalt walkway the entire way. The falls is gorgeous and so is the path to the waterfall. The entire state park is scenic and beautiful. People bring their dogs out and families to this place, it is dog friendly It doesn't get much better than that. Nature's lovers will enjoy for sure.

It's an easy hike if you're in shape. If you're not it's challenging but doable. It's not the length but the incline that will get you. It's worth it when you get to the falls. It's paved the whole way and kept nice and clean.

Beautiful waterfall. The trail is paved. Be prepared for a steep uphill climb. Definitely worth the trip

We absolutely love nature and being 6 1/2 months pregnant this was a perfect hike! It was pretty busy for a Sunday! All paved hiking trail to the waterfall and scenic! Has several rock benches along the path for pit stops. To go to the Falls it was 5 dollars per person so be prepared to have funds with you :) The gift shop does accept cards along with having nice gifts. Definitely will be back especially when the little one pops out! Perfect family trip for all to enjoy!!

This was such a beautiful hike, paved pathway so made it easy to walk. It was not very long, I would say it was about a mile round trip once you park. We went just after a bunch of rain so I feel like we got lucky with great views of the waterfall and river with the water coming down off the mountain.
