Elijah Mountain Gem Mine and Goat Farm, Hendersonville

Great family fun! Unique creations made from gems. Mining was a hit with our family! To get into the store was free, of course. However, there are various rates to go gem mining. It just depends on how many people and what type of mining you want to do. We chose the "family dream deal" which was around $108.

Awesome selection of crystals! Very affordable bucket mining prospecting for the family and kids! They have Goats you can feed and peacocks out back! They even have a small obstacle course too with a small river flow coming through. Very cool and unique place to stop by while your in the area or Asheville area.

We spent $165 for a huge tub and found so much fun soothing for rocks and gems. We found several big geodes. Cute gift shop had so much to offer. Cute joy pond inside. There was a cute playground outside and a lil petting farm goat peakcock pheasant and chickens

Definitely a highlight of our holiday vacation. Shop is loaded with all kinds of gemstones, rocks and jewelry. There's a big area to mine for gems and an area to walk and explore behind the mining area. There are even friendly goats that love to be fed!
