Loved this super clean and beautiful, family beach. Full of shells, shark teeth and wildlife to see. Had a fabulous time.

A wonderful place to go shelling and shark tooth hunting! Also, if you want the sunset over the ocean but can't get to the West coast, this is a great second best!

We found our first Megalodon tooth this year, plus hundreds of other shark teeth (many large ones), Endochus teeth (an extinct fish related to the lancetfish of today), lots of beautiful sea biscuits, and tons of other great fossils and shells! You can find great things anywhere on Holden, but to find more in a smaller area, head to the pier!

Great place for shelling because of the dredging that took place. The pier itself is closed at the moment. Supposedly Holden Beach started charging for parking to get money to make repairs to the pier.

My Mother's last Wishes was to have her Ashes scattered throughout the Ocean at her Favorite place on Earth at the Holden Beach Pier. She said it was her little piece of Heaven on Earth. She spent many Thanksgivings and Easter Sundays here in her last year's of Life.
