Veldheer’s is Holland’s only tulip farm perennial garden, Vern Veldheer in 1950 started a hobby farm with 100 red tulips and 300 white tulips, today Veldheer’s plants over 5.5 million tulips for you to walk through and enjoy. Perennials and flowers are brought in from around the world for you to buy and plant in your gardens. To visit Veldheer Tulip Garden on your trip to Holland, use our Holland road trip planning website.
Our philosophy is that each client and their yard are important. Quality is the number one reason in choosing Veldheer's plants for your yard. Veldheer’s staff is here to help you make the right choices for flowers and plants so your garden can be better than Martha’s.
We encourage you to plan a visit to our spring gardens during the last week in April until the middle of May. When you visit our farm not only will you see 5 million tulips in bloom, but 50,000 daffodils, 10,000 hyacinths and 20,000 crocus all providing a continuous parade of color for the garden enthusiast.
Come back in the summer and see our 10 acre landscaped perennial garden, open from June 1st to mid-October. Here we plant thousands of Dutch lilies, daylilies, peonies and other rare perennials amid a setting of windmills, drawbridges and canals.
We are east of U.S. 31 on Quincy Street. Please remember last people are allowed in gardens one hour before close. We are Eastern Standard Time.

At first, I was skeptical $15 dollars to look at flowers? The farm is gorgeous so many tulips you'd never had thought were tulips and at the end you can buy your favorite and get them shipped to you at planting time (October/November). They give you a booklet that has the names and codes of all the flowers to keep track of all the ones you want. Trust me it'll be a lot!

It s small but very pretty place. We might have visited on the last day so some flowers were wilted. But we saw a variety of tulips and flowers that I had never seen before. It's a cute little place with windmills and all resembling the original Holland. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely gorgeous flowers; varieties I’ve never seen before! It’s also a lovely experience in the gardens; we saw a proposal there! Ordering bulbs for fall delivery was very easy, and Nick was hilarious.

Tulips are my favorite flowers so I had to visit. They charge $15 per person which isn't too bad. I had no idea there were so many variations of tulips, they were all beautiful. The next field over had 4 Bisons, they're fenced in another area but still awesome to watch.

If you can do only one thing for Tulip Time, then this is the thing to do. We spent about 2 hours here. Captured amazing photos, and blown away by the amount of tulips here. The only negative is not very wheelchair/stroller accessible; you walk literally in the tulip fields. Admission is $15 for adults, and get there early if you want a good parking spot.
