  • This is a great added attraction to West Shores ambiance. The museum boasts wonderful displays chronicling the Lake's nautical history. Highly recommend and great for the kids.

  • Great place to visit to learn about boats and a brief history of Lake Tahoe. $5 entrance fee. :) Staff was really charming and friendly.
  • We enjoyed visiting this small museum. There were several Gar Woods and Chris Craft boats on display on one side of the museum, and a kid's exhibit about Tahoe Tessie on the other side of the museum. Boat buffs would enjoy. The Tahoe Tessie exhibit was cool and occupied kids for 20-30 minutes.
  • The history of Lake Tahoe told through an exhibit of the most famous boats that have graced the waters of Lake Tahoe and a good dose of its maritime history, too. Interactive exhibits help you learn about the indigenous people who lived here, the celebrities who made it famous, and the athletes who put it on the map. #LocalGuides #OnGoogleMaps #LetsGuide
  • Quaint, informative museum concerning boating on lake Tahoe. Enjoying visit, including the landscaped garden space behind the museum.
  • Knowledgeable staff and very good displays/info... Too bad the venue is so small, it would be great to see more history on the floor.
