Crow River Winery, Hutchinson

Crow River Winery is located just East of Hutchinson and is one of Minnesota's finest farm wineries. Visitors can taste a variety of hand-crafted wines, such as their famous Honeycrisp Apple and Cranberry wine, or tour the vineyards after a wine tasting tour. My personal favorite is the Marquette and it rivals any medium red out of California. Also, for me, the Apiary is just a nice "relax and sip wine." Their Bistro has awesome pizzas, meat and cheese trays, Artisan sandwiches and olive oils. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and eager to serve. We will return when in the area!

I drive three and a half hours regularly to visit this wonderful winery. Every single wine on the menu is exceptional. The food is so good that you will have trouble deciding what to get so consider ordering everything like I did.

The backyard setting and decadent building make this place stand out. Is it a pizza or wine place? Because their pizza was amazing! We each tried a wine flight and found their wine to be better than most wineries. Go relax out back on a beautiful, summer night and watch the sun set. (Wine grades on a 10 scale)

Great summer day for sitting next to the fountain on the patio! The staff is very helpful and friendly. I had a frozen mixed berry mule that was very yummy. Our party of 4 shared 2 pizzas, bruschetta, and onion rings. The onion rings with zesty sauce were everyone’s favorite. I’ll definitely be back for the rings and zesty sauce very soon!

Let’s be honest, this is an event venue that sells mediocre wines and overpriced “artisanal” pizzas on the side. Nothing here feels exceptional, including the staff. There are better options around Lake Waconia - Pass.
