Dedicated to local environmentalist Anne Eaton, Anne's Beach features a shallow swimming area along a shore lined with mangroves. Try your hand at kiteboarding, or snorkel to look for octopuses. When you're done, walk along the boardwalk, which is an elevated, wooden path that leads 0.8 km (0.5 mi) through natural wetlands. Bring a picnic basket and eat in the covered picnic area. Amenities include two parking lots and bathroom facilities. Watch your step to avoid crab holes. • Not a beach I would swim at this time of year. There were TONS of baby and mid sized Portuguese Mon O War washed up on the shore. However, it was an awesome beach to walk around and explore. We saw a TON of crabs and hermit crabs and baby conches. Also saw some neat fish swimming around and lots of lizards. It was a neat place to walk around and take in nature.
  • Anne's Beach is a small public beach in the central area of Florida Keys. It has no amenities, so if you're looking for things like food & drink at this beach then you've come to the wrong place. If you're looking for paradise, on the other hand, then Anne's Sand Key Park fits the bill.
  • The boardwalk and pavilions are very nice!! It's the perfect place for a walk or a picnic. We've heard that this is a good place to snorkel but we didn't go in the water here. We just enjoyed the view and we walked on the boardwalk and on the beach. It wasn't very crowded and there are 2 parking lots to this particular beach.
  • Following hurricane Nicole the beach has mostly been reclaimed by the sea so only the pavilions and the walkways remain. The location is good but the car park is very small and given its proximity to the road it's quite noisy.
  • Interesting beach spot. Windy today, not a good spot for swimming. But we saw a Portuguese Man of War and some great windsurfing.
