National Museum of Wildlife Art, Jackson Hole

Beautiful permanent display of wildlife art. We were fortunate to catch a local artist exposition while we were here which was an added bonus. Plan for 1.5 - 2 hrs. The only negative was the cafe which was not conducive to grabbing a quick snack. It’s about two miles from the north end of Jackson which lets you have a nice walk along the south western border of the National Elk Refuge.

We did not pay to enter, so I'm only reviewing the Sculpture Trail. It was underwhelming and not because the sculptures were low quality but because the layout and directions were poor. For example, the Spirit Totems were named differently on the cue card than the placards themselves and this portion wasn't even on the app. Said app was also unclear, scanning the QR Code took you to a website and the instructions did not match the sign with the QR Code. I might go back with my wife but it did not feel conducive to young kids.

The place is amazing it was close when we went through but just the statues was beautiful enough to admire. The view from the museum it's amazing

Fabulous sculptures, exhibits and paintings depicting wildlife. Historical works blend with modern art. Definitely visit this place!

What a beautiful museum. Loved the art and statues. The toilets were so amazing I took a photo for my sister who is a designer
