Vintage Fire Museum, Jeffersonville

Great fire museum! They have a small fire prevention/education area at the front of the building for children. One of the volunteers gave my daughter a tour of all of the old hand pumpers and told her the history of them all. She was enthralled with it all. Recommend for anyone! They offer a discount if you are a firefighter.

Great small museum. Very friendly people who know a lot about the different equipment. Ours kids loved the different demonstrations.

This was the best small museum experience of our 6000+ mile trip. When we came in, a retired firefighter latched on and gave us a grand tour, complete with fire safety education for the kids. Being a car guy and having a soft spot for old fire trucks, I was enamored with the quantity and quality of the machines on exhibit. Highly recommend for kids and adults alike!

First the staff made it a very informative and down to earth experience. The museum is small but packed with equipment and artifacts of the fire service. It was a fun side trip from Louisville for a fire buff.

My Boyfriend and I Enjoyed this So Much! I highly recommend going by. The staff was Awesome and it absolutely Amazed us how knowledgeable the tour guide was. Seriously,if you get a chance Go By!
