There are many, many cactus plants on this 1/4 mile loop through the desert. It is a nice, wide path. Handicapped accessible. I recommend stopping while in Joshua Tree National Park.

The 1/4 mile loop is a nice walk to view the cactus. It's a sandy trail, probably not suitable for wheelchairs, but doable with a cane. The trail has not been as wee maintained as one might wish...

This is quite an amazing place. It is well worth the stop to wander around for 30 minutes to an hour. The marked path only goes part of the way around, so don't veer too far. It was perfect...

So stunning at sunset. Great view for star gazing as well. 🫶🏻 great place to stop by at Joshua tree park

Definitely worth visiting to see the glowing cholla cactii stretching out for miles around you. It's suggested to visit this garden at sunrise, but the view was just as good at midday when we visited. Be very careful to not get too close - the cactus spines will attach themselves to your clothes at the slightest contact, and will not want to let go - I speak from experience.

If you’re going anywhere in Joshua Tree, make sure you add the Cholla Cactus Garden to your list! We went a little before sunset and it was perfect because you could see the Cholla start to glow more and more as the light dims. Incredible experience and pretty easy to find parking around 5pm.

This place within Joshua Tree NP is an incredible natural phenomenon within a park full of amazing natural phenomenon. I recommend the drive down to this spot.

Good trail to wonder in the desert and admire this amazing plants. It may get bit too hot during summer or during afternoon. I would suggest carrying a small water bottle just in case. Also, please do not touch the plants as thorns are sharp and can hurt.
