Captain Zodiac Raft Expeditions, Kailua-Kona

My first time ever snorkeling and what an experience it was! The day was full of wonderful spot to snorkel without whole bunch of people. Do not be afraid to ask for the noodles (or float master 2000) . Work smarter not harder! My wife who gets motion sickness did not have it during this boat ride with the help of medicine - so don’t forget to take it so you can enjoy the day! Also , the people at Captain Zodiac really care for the environment and respect the life in the ocean. They even had coral safe sun screen available at the check in place for free to use. 5/5 would go with them again. Oh take a towel, you’ll need it when you come out of the water

WOW! Awesome experience! Rick and Brenda did an excellent job on this tour (Beat the crowd). Super safe and Fun ride. The snorkeling was beautiful, plus we saw 2 types of dolphins as a bonus. I highly recommend booking with Captain Zodiac. The staff is very friendly, had refreshments, sandwiches and snacks (plenty!). Thank you Zodiac team!

It was a fun and fast ride to Captain Cook where we snorkeled around some awesome reefs seeing many different reef fish, tangs, triggers, trumpets. Had a nice lunch and did some more snorkeling. The trip back included some stops at places of interest, sea caves and the Pele cliff. On the trip to Captain Cook and back, we also saw Humpbacked Whales. A little baby whale was breaching alongside mom and a companion. There were some tail and flipper slaps, flukes. It was extraordinary! The crew was very professional, informative, and funny. They allowed a good amount of time to see the whales and for snorkeling. Saw a lot for a single trip. Overall, it was a very good day!

We have experienced a handful of snorkel trips and this one was the best! Be ready for 51/2 hours of Sun! Remember you are on a zodiac, not a covered party boat. Load up on sunblock and bring your hat and sunglasses! You will have an amazing time! We experienced 2 snorkel spots at Captain Cook’s with a nice lunch in between. Captain Rick was entertaining and his mate, Will helped everyone with whatever they needed. If you want an adventure of a lifetime while in Hawaii take this trip!

We had so much fun on this snorkeling trip to Captain Cook! Captain Rich and Brenna were amazing and knowledgeable. This adventure was the highlight of our trip. We were luckily able to see a few whales on our way to snorkeling. This was a fantastic way to spend the day on the water.
