Kayak tour with Lee was great! She was sweet, informative and personal. It was our first time kayaking and she made sure we were getting the hang of it and offered super helpful tips and tricks to keep us moving. The hike was beautiful and fun. The hike is a bit treacherous with lots of rocks. My mother-in-law had hurt her ankle and when I called less than 24 hours before departing they were SO kind and refunded me for her ticket. She could NOT have done this hike with a bad ankle. The falls are SPECTACULAR to say the least. All around this company and trip is WONDERFUL and a must do while in Kauai.

This was absolutely worth the time and money! Our guide was knowledgeable and funny!! We had fabulous weather and the hike wasn't too difficult, but it was slippery in places. Teva hiking sandals will work perfectly for you. The kayak portion was beautiful and not too strenuous. The hike to "Secret Falls" was filled with spectacular views and wildlife. We had a blast swimming in the falls! Highly recommend this trip!

Fantastic experience. My 8-year & 11-year old and grandma enjoyed the little adventure. Our guide Harrison is funny and helpful. He also taught us some interesting facts about the Hawaiian plants. You probably can do it as a self-guided tour, but I’d highly recommend a guided tour. You need to paddle on the right side of the river. Our guide even helped someone who got stuck on the wrong side of the river.

We had a great experience with Kayak Wailua. Our guide, Jason, was professional, friendly, and had a perfect mix of humor, information, and instruction during our five hours together. The kayaks and tour bus were new and clean, the parking and check in process were easy, and the overall experience was fun and memorable. So much of your experience with a trip like this comes down to equipment, planning, having a friendly and knowledgeable guide, and a little luck with the weather. For us, everything was perfect and Jason made it even better.

My parents, sister, and I (ages 26, 29, 56, and 59) loved the guided kayak tour with Brandon. He was hilarious and made the entire experience a blast. We are not seasoned kayakers and hadn't kayaked in a few years so we were a little nervous, but loved every minute of it. The hike is beautiful with stunning foliage and well worth it as the waterfall was beautiful! It had rained the night before so the trail/rocks were a little slippery but nothing too challenging. Definitely plan on getting your feet wet as you cross streams a few times. Your belongings and food are kept perfectly safe with the dry bag and cooler provided.
