Tunnels Beach, Wainiha

Beautiful experience, spent a few days snorkeling, swimming and just enjoying the sea breeze. Saw sleeping monk seals, and lots of fish. Native fishermen are fascinating to watch in the distance as they have expert skills with the waves. The beach is family friendly and not overcrowded as the parking is limited. Best views in Hawaii as far as I am concerned.

We got here early so parking wasn't an issue. This is the best beach that we have been on, on this island, or anywhere! It was so gorgeous around this area and the views from the beach don't feel real. We brought snorkels and snorkeled around and looked at fish and other sea creatures on the rocks. You can snorkel and see fish in 5 feet of water.

Had a great time here. Parking was a little crowded but the beaches definitely were not. We spent all afternoon snorkeling and saw whales, sharks, lobster, and a ton of reef fish. No turtles :( Easy in and out for snorkeling, beautiful scenery, tons of fish, beautiful drive out…5 stars all the way.

Beautiful beach with a lot of protected beautiful natural reef areas to snorkel. Unfortunately, winter waves were beautiful but were too violent to snorkel. Great for advance surfers. Would definitely come back during summer time!

This is an amazing beach! It is a must, you have to drive to here is a little far, you can find a parking lot, bathrooms, and a beautiful beach with a spectacular view… to go into the water you will find rocks, if you can wear water shoes or beach shoes will be better, not a big deal but make it easy, if you have your snorkeling equipments will be great! Water is warm and beautiful , you can get a beautiful pictures!
