  • Excellent 2 hour tour, excellently preserved furnishings, household items, art, documents. Included some of the stories of the workers, and preservation of their history, too. It will be a long time before Southern history locations fully embrace our history, but this one has begun, and it makes the experience better. Overall, this tour was on par with museum homes in Charleston.
  • Had an absolute blast with Mrs. Teresa as our tour guide today. The home is beautiful and so many secrets still in place all throughout the house. Teresa gives a backstory for each room/amenity in detail, and the history is VERY rich!! You should have no problem feeling welcomed by the residents too... ;) Thank you again Teresa!!
  • We took the tour and it was amazing! Our guide had so much information on the house and the people connected to it. The house is awesome! All original. Next time you are in Kenansville, NC, stop and get the tour!
  • Had a nice tour of this historical house. Great for history buffs
  • History is so vital to life. The staff love this house and those who lived in it. It makes the tour more interesting. There's a 13 minute video before the tour starts and it's about 1.5 hours total on site. $5 is not too bad for this tour.
