Nice, cool picnic spot. Beautiful area with trails that wind up to extrodinary views. If you go early enough you will have the entire spot to yourself.

Another little spot most tourists might go right past. Take the easy paved trail up to the top for some amazing views of the Black Hills!

This is a beautiful place. Just around the bend from Mount Rushmore, it is a quiet and secluded spot perfect for a short walk or picnic among the pines. I was so overwhelmed by the sheer beauty and magic of this place that it brought tears to my eyes. Really.
