  • Amazing place to view sunset. Water is crystal clear and best place for kids to play with nice sand. Water activity like kayak and paddle board is available for rent. Paid car parking spots available next to beach. Car parking charges $10/day.
  • Get there early for parking (9am). It has soft sandy beaches that's clean. Bring beach toys, sunscreen and shade for the kids. You can rent kayak and have fun as well. It's a clean and beautiful lake!
  • We visit this beach a lot, but this is the first time we came for the music on the beach Friday summer events. We always try to avoid crowds, and the amount of visitors and vehicles has been overwhelming since 2016 and summer is usually the worst. This evening, the air quality is yellow; temperature is tolerable for our dogs; and we can enjoy the lake without a mask on. I'm glad we came. The crowd was small. Street parking was easy. We got some yummy food from the food stands, enjoyed the music and the beautiful view of lake with our dogs. After the last few years with California burning and the on going pandemic, we are grateful to able to enjoy this. I know everyone else on the beach is. Lets keep parks clean and lake Tahoe blue!!
  • Great spot to park. $10 self park for the whole day. Right next to the beach. If you want to get a spot here, come before 10am. There are great kayak and paddleboard rentals right next to the park. It's very convenient and we usually always park here.
  • We went to watch the sunrise and it was a great view. Also saw a bear around the basketball court area (so beware)
