We stayed in the Lake View cabin. We only stayed for one night but it was perfect for us passing through. We had an air conditioner, full bath, and full kitchen. There is not WiFi or TV’s but that...

Sad to admit this but I have never visited this place. I only live a few miles from it but never really learned to appreciate what is right in my back yard until recently. The day I visited it was...

Enjoy a scenic and nice hike around a lake while playing this disc golf course. Some of the fairways are a bit tight with high and thick grass/flowers lining the sides, but searching for a brightly colored disc in them was not too difficult. Just ensure to keep discs out of the rough. Saw numerous wild raspberry vines (past fruiting season) throughout some of the holes, so I would say this is a great place to visit in early July for easy pickings.

Beautiful park! Everything was so nostalgic! The playground equipment, the brown and yellow old signs..love it! So much wildlife and beautiful trails and flowers. Can't wait to go back and planning a get away to a cabin up there soon!

We love Lake Iowa, low key and relaxing. Campgrounds are well kept. They have a wonderful panfish pond that the kids love to fish, it's easier to get to than the lake.

We had a positive experience camping at Lake Iowa Park for Father's Day Weekend. We pulled in on a Thursday around noon and there were plenty of spots left. It is self registration so first come first serve. My family enjoyed the new and clean bathrooms/shower houses, walking trails, playgrounds, beach, lake, and full hook up! Would definitely camp here again.
