Hills & Dales Estate, LaGrange

A must see if you are anywhere near Lagrange, GA. This estate is absolutely beautiful! A lot of great history. The home is very well kept. SueEllen was a wonderful tour guide. A lot of beautiful flowers and greenery on the grounds and in the green house.

We were lucky enough to find this gem by accident on Thu, Mar 2, 2023. We were on a business trip for Heartland CPR and had a day to explore, originally we were in Senoia and drove an hour to visit this beautiful estate. It was such a wonderful experience, filled with history and love for such a magnificent historical site. When we walked up to the location we were a bit confused because there was a lot of commotion, with U-Hauls and other things going on, that we thought it might be closed. Fortunately, a wonderful man named Chris came and help us navigate the situation, they were in the midst of filming a Hallmark movie! That was so fun to see! Thank you, Hope for driving us around in the golf cart and getting us where we needed to be. Sue Ellen was our tour guide through the home, wow, I can't say enough about her. She was extremely kind, very knowledgeable, answered every question we had, you can tell she has passion for what she does and shows her love for the history of this iconic estate! Thank you again, we highly recommend you visit Hills and Dales Estate!

Wow! Such a breathtaking space. My mom and walked here from our airBnb, we stayed really close and I’m so glad! Walking through this garden alone with my mom felt like we were in an enchanted forest or something. I took hundreds of pictures and spent 3 hours walking around and still didn’t feel like I really got to experience the entirety of this beautiful place.

A great piece of Georgia History and a fun and relaxing place to visit. I recommend contacting them ahead of time and seeing if you can arrange a tour for yourself or your group. Having an expert with you to share the history and guide you to any particular place on the property or to highlight a particular area of interest for you or your party makes the visit more enjoyable.

Beautiful grounds and plants. There is a green house and a herb garden. It was a pleasant walk through the estate.
