Slaughterhouse Beach, Lahaina

We visited Slaughterhouse Beach when it was a bit stormy. The drive is quite scenic. There’s not a parking lot, just parking along the roadway. There is a stairway going down to the beach. We enjoyed our time watching people trying to ride the waves. The water has beautiful shades of colors. We were there on a stormy day so I can’t really speak of the snorkeling or other activities on Slaughterhouse Beach. I can say it’s a beautiful beach, stormy or not. The road is very windy and beautiful to the beach. Enjoy your day!!

Beautiful little beach! Great waves for boogie boarding and a neat little sea cave. There’s barely any parking, however if you don’t mind a little walk, there’s a free lot down the hill a little ways. This is definitely not a handicap accessible beach since you can only enter via a tall stairway; there are also no restrooms.

We just randomly pulled over to see why cars were parked. Walked down this creepy stairway to one of the best little secret beaches. Beautiful clear water. Best impromptu photo shoot EVER!

Slaughterhouse Beach is awesome, definitely one of my favorites in Maui. Pretty secluded and usually not crowded. Nice size beach so you have a good amount of area to lay out. I went snorkeling over to the right and it was amazing. Definitely need to check this one out, it’s right around the corner from Honolua Bay.

Beautiful beach. You take stairs to get down to it. We saw a sea turtle on the beach. There were nice small waves. The water is very clear. It was not overly crowded on MLK Jr. Day compared to other beaches nearby.
