Golden Nugget Casino, Lake Charles

This hotel was beautiful the location was amazing! The gambling was nice the restaurant were great. The rooms were very nice. The one thing I do have to say is that we requested room service with the front desk in the morning just before walking out for the day and when we returned in the evening the room was exactly the way we left it, nothing had been cleaned, no clean towels, no toilet paper no bed made. The morning we were to check out we called the front desk many times (about 5 x ) to ask a question but no one ever answered, so if you have an emergency and you need to contact the front desk, good luck. We took a little stroll to the Casino/Hotel next door. It was Beautiful! Maybe next time we'll stay there. Over all our stay was nice and our view of the lake was beautiful. We didn't go into the pool area because it was a bit cold but if it was warmer we would've been all over it. They have a waiting pool and plenty of seating with a beautiful fireplace. The only thing I would say needs improvement is their customer service, maybe smile and act like they enjoy their jobs and not look at ppl like they're bothering them.

My first experience at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles casino and I thought it was awesome. I've not experienced many casino's but I've been to a few and I thought this one was really a great place to explore it has a little of everything for everyone you can fish,play golf and of course enjoy all the top notch amenities the casino has to offer.The lakes are right there call a fishing guide go fishing,golf course on premises and of course shopping and fine dinning in the casino .Fabulous resort style pool wish hot tubs, lazy river,outdoor beach style bar and volleyball court very very well thought out facility. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to be back.👍👍

What can I say. Its a hotel resort. Beautiful views. It is pricey so be prepared to spend. Simple amenities like a microwave and a micro fridge along with some "Deluxe" things to give a better experience would have been nice. I got a Deluxe room king size. Beautifully decorated. Bed was super comfortable and the tub/shower was lovely. Service was fair.

Stopped for one night stay on way to New Orleans. Room was good. Bars had friendly attentive staff. Gambling area was small. Only two restaurants were open. Food at Mexican restaurant was very good. Outside area was beautiful. Unable to enjoy due to weather.

We. Had a great time, however Many things are not open during week days, restaurants have limited menus, and just because they are not taking reservations doesn't mean that you can't just walk up and eat. We will go back, but are aware you can't get room service except on weekends. The room is wonderful and food is great! Acoustics are great for there concerts!
