  • museum is closed for remodel, but the tree is amazing to see. 375 years old and still growing. They have a small bench and table to sit under the tree.

  • Full of incredible exhibits! The current Mardi Gras Exhibit on loan from the Mardi Gras Museum is so fascinating! And Points of View by Jacob Dugas is amazing! His gallery talk during the grand opening was so moving!
  • If you have never been to their annual fundraising estate sale, you are missing out. There is always at least one great find when you go. My daughter still loves the bed frame that I found there 3 years ago.
  • A small but well curated museum. The current exhibition features "Small Wonders" including a thousand year old Greek vase, a portrait of Rodin by Renoir, a scene painted by Clementine Hunter, as well as more modern works by Louisiana artists. The permanent collection highlights the history of Lake Charles. It's easy to spend 45 minutes to an hour here for a patron of the arts.
  • We yoga here outside, and love seeing any new exhibits. Checkout the local items when you're here! 😁
  • The tree is amazing and very spiritual
