L'Auberge Casino Resort, Lake Charles

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very large including the restroom. The beds are very comfortable. We were in a smoke free room. We didn’t smell any smoke. The lazy river and pool area was very nice. The gardens are well kept. The casino was nice. The my choice customer service desk was very helpful and polite.

Casino are very clean and fun. Restaurants are delicious. I have been to Casino a few times but this was our first time staying here since it was our anniversary. The reason for 3 stars is our reservation was for a king bed and upon arriving they notified us that they were out of king beds due to us checking in late and all king room were given to others who checked in before us. Pretty much first come first serve, so what was the point of my reservation. They did give us upgrade but the only upgrade was a view of the pool but still separate beds. After we checked out, I realized I left my pillow behind, the only pillow that I have found to help with my neck pains and sleep. I called to see if I can have my friend who was still there to pick up for me but the said I had to wait till the cleaning service turn it in at the end of the day. By the time my pillow was located, my friend had left so had to leave a message for Mrs. April, lost and found service, to have it mail to me. It's been almost a week and I have yet to hear back from any one after leaving a few messages. I am now having to struggle searching for the right pillow at different stores. Pillow was purchased from bed bath and beyond and no longer carry it :(

Pretty but no fridge? Seriously? I was traveling and needed a fridge. The only way that was going to happen was if I paid an extra $100 for a suite. And these rooms are not cheap I asked about security in the parking lot and there does not seem to be any. Either park with valet or pray over your car when you leave it. I had no issues at all, but saw some of the clientele and worried a little. Gorgeous sunsets from the hallway, comfortable bed and great pillows. Nice long lazy river with 2 pools. Several places to eat inside the hotel. Golf course was well manicured, as well. Plenty of places to shop and eat in the area.

Great casino and resort! Went here to celebrate my birthday with my husband. We had a King luxury room and it was wonderful. Very clean and we had an awesome view of the pool and lake. We dined at Drago's for dinner, it was so good!! Hubby won a little something at the casino which paid for our dinner. Overall, great experience. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back soon.

My first day trip to the casino. The atmosphere was nice. Cleanliness was good. My negative issue was trying to get assistance with slot machines. There was one machine that was not working and I ask 3 people for assistance which I suppose it was not their job nor did they help in getting anyone. After about 15 minutes I was told it is on reserve for someone. We were there for 5 hours and no one ever played the machine. There was only 1 of those is what I was told.
