  • Had no idea this would be such a gorgeous hike ---- once we reached the lake, we were in awe. The reflection on the water was so beautiful - postcard perfect pics!

  • Absolutely breathtaking. Great hike up, moderate difficulty, and finished up with a swim in the lake. Will never forget it. Recommend getting there pretty early to get parked (along the road)

  • Amazing beautiful hike and view. Very easy to get to the falls , bridge. Many people like to hang out and play there. Kids and families are successful in This venture. Trail is well maintained and structured like stairs with rocks. .. Beyond the bridge a train stairwells up the rocky mountain for the adventures who dares go beyond into the desolate wilderness.. eagle lake is a worthy venture and not difficult for any healthy able and willing body. . Even further greater ventures if mountaineering and serene lakes may be found but dare you know the depth of your desolate wilderness hiking skills? .. Adventure forth and have an enjoyable time whichever your level of willingness.. A great spot to play and experience life
  • Another one of those "must see" creations of Mother Nature... The powerful water falls and breathtaking views are amazing! The falls are just off the road and easily accessible. Do be careful though as it's risky if you don't take caution while walking around the falls and wet rocks.
  • We love it here and going up to the Eagle Lake. We somehow always end up here in February and it's beautiful and snowy. Because of the snow and some ice most people just stop at the falls so the trail is super quiet and peaceful. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the parking is horrible especially in winter when everything is blocked by snow. But yeah lovely hike!
  • What a great hike and ‘hidden’ lake!!!! Decently moderate hike, even with young kids (they did complain a bit but still made it round trip!). Seeing the lake at the end was so worth it- we all took a little dip in the cold waters and enjoyed the area for awhile before turning back. Truly another gem of the Lake Tahoe area.
  • I've hiked here in the spring and during winter. I couldn't make it further than the bridge over the waterfall during winter. Way too much snow but if you're adventurous please try! I only had show spikes and didn't want to risk slipping and sliding down.
