Escape Room Lancaster, Lancaster

I have done many, many escape rooms in the last several years, and have seen many an awesome room and met many a polite game master. Tanner was, by far, one of the most friendly, welcoming, and exciting game masters I've had the pleasure of meeting. From start to finish Tanner made the entire experience fantastic; immediately picking up on the sense of humor that our group shared only enhanced and made the entire evening much more enjoyable. I don't live locally to this escape room, but I would definitely make the trip back to try some of the other rooms, simply because this staff (TANNER!) went above and beyond to make this escape locale a cut above the rest. 100/10 stars! Thank you for an awesome time!

The staff here were welcoming and sweet. The space is laid out and decorated so perfectly! The escape room we played was interesting and slightly challenging. Definitely coming back when we are in town again.

I would highly recommend this place me and my husband did the ancient Greek temple room and it was so much fun and decorated very well.The staff are very welcoming and friendly. SAM was our room guide and she was amazing and made the experience better. Me and my husband escaped the room with 4 mins to spare.

I played the Imposter room a few months ago and decided to come back and play the 80s room. I've played over 50 rooms at this point. I'm not sure about the other rooms at this location but I was disappointed with quality of set and puzzles. I played the Imposter one because I thought it would be funny and returned to play the 80s with slightly higher hopes for a better room. The set design for both rooms consisted of posters and decals on the walls. The use of overhead lighting for the better part of the room as well as no soundtrack took away from the immersion of it all as well. It seems like there is little thought that goes into the design of the room itself, it really is just a room. There is no way to tell how much time you have besides the gamemaster warning you here and there. The puzzles were linear and consisted of mostly physical locks and the answers didn't lead to a satisfactory conclusion. It was all about finding codes instead of solving and connecting the puzzle. Overall, I have no complaints with the customer service of Escape Room Lancaster. They were always so welcoming and helpful if I had any questions and the gamemasters ran the room well. Their rooms are just not that great.

Tanner went above and beyond for our little group. What was expected to be a normal escape room experience, turned into an unforgettable memory. The rooms themselves were great, but Tanner is truly what made the experience worthwhile; I couldn't recommend any other place but this one!
