I had a lovely tour yesterday. The village has an interesting history and the docents are quite well-versed on all of the aspects of village life. The stories can get to be a bit long-winded, but I'm sure glad I learned about them. There is a bit of walking involved and some areas are sealed off but overall it was a great experience. With the tour, count on about 1.5 - 2 hours.

I love this Cute village & farm Museum. It was interesting coming here to learn my culture which was German. I also even learned about the Amish and the Mennonite. The farming technology during its time was fascinating to see and I will be coming back to see the people dressed up in the different buildings showing you how it was done during the time this happened. 👍

I enjoyed my visit to the Landis Valley Village and Museum. I went on a guided tour with Nancy. She was very knowledgeable about the various buildings that we visited including the Tavern and linen production building. The Landis home and Country store were also interesting. I also enjoyed the videos that were available on some of the buildings.

This place was amazing! We took the guided tour and our guide was so very informative! It was a small group so she tailored it to her audience. She made it special. Also the detail of the museum was impressive. We spent a few hours in the morning but could have been there much longer. We only scratched the surface on what it had to offer. Highly recommended!

Interesting recreation and compilation of original and re-located historic homes and buildings. Very similar to Ohio Village in Columbus. Between the buildings and the artifacts, you could spend an hour or a day here. We did the whole thing in just about an hour but were the only ones there (literally) and there were no interpreters or activities available. Worth a visit if you like history.
