Create an itinerary including Sesame Place Philadelphia
Based on the beloved television show, Sesame Place Philadelphia brings Sesame Street to life through amusement park rides. Water attractions, shows, parades, and holiday events have added to the park’s fun since it opened in 1980. The 2014 addition to the park, Cookie Monster Land, features five imaginative rides, adventurous net climbing, and a soft play area for the park’s youngest guests. Of course, no visit to this park is complete without meeting your favorite Sesame Street characters. To visit Sesame Place Philadelphia on your trip to Langhorne, use our Langhorne day trip website.

  • Great place for young kids. Lots of rides and half the park has water-related activities. Would advise going early or later in the day (opening time or after 3). Otherwise kids will enjoy. Cute parade of all the Sesame Street characters. Check pricing and perhaps bring your own snacks and water.
  • We had a great time here with a 3 yr old. Staff was enthusiastic, we didn’t encounter a single grumpy employee. The performers at the parade were wonderful, they put on a great show while keeping kids safe and entertained. If you come on a weekday, the lines are short (if there at all) and the park is less crowded. The park was also notably clean and well-kept, none of the rides appeared to be run-down. Here’s a tip: BRING YOUR OWN FOOD. You cannot take it into the park. However, you can leave the park and come back (they stamp your wrist) and they have an area of picnic tables and umbrellas just outside by the preferred parking. Bring your own food and keep it in your car, the park is so compact that’s it’s very easy to head back to your car, even with little ones! Food prices were HIGH inside of the park, $12 for a hot dog, $7 for a pretzel…just a few examples. Also check out their season passes, especially if you’re coming with a group. The gold pass gives you what is essentially 5 tickets (the pass holder plus 4 guests a season) for exactly half the cost.
  • Fun rides for younger kids., the girls sure had a nice time. The parade was totally mind blowing 🤩. But food pricing is definitely overrated, 1 bottle of water costs over $4.99 plus taxes. I drunk at least 5 of them, I can’t imagine such ridiculousness.🙆🏾‍♀️
  • First off gotta say, I do like this park, it's just certain things run me the wrong way. We got here around 2pm, food was limited as there was only the pizzeria open to serve customers. Food is very expensive, for the little bit that you get. Also be aware that the water side of the park closes at 6pm while the rest of the park closes at 8pm. We went on a Tuesday, crowd was not an issue and there were no lines, like none at all to ride the rides. Especially the roller coasters which are super fun as you can take an average sized 4 year old on! All in all super fun for the kids, parents be prepared to spend around 200 on extras like food and souvenirs, and that's if your being cheap about it. Oh and parking is 30 dollars too!
  • We love Sesame Place! There are rides and roller coasters for everyone. My kids feel safe tuning around the place and enjoy all the rides because they are kid friendly! A few things I would change is the food as it truly sucks and it is overpriced; for the admission price the park charges the food should be better. Also the candy they gave for Halloween war poor in comparison to your regular trick or treat!
