  • I have fond memories of visiting Impression 5 as a kid and now am able to bring my own kids here. A wonderful gem of a place in Lansing.

  • We’ve been to Impression 5 a handful of times with our eldest, but this was our first trip as a family of 4. At 2.5, our daughter is finally big enough (and tall enough) to enjoy the water area...

  • Came here with my 9 year old daughter and she had a blast! We were there for 3 hours and could have been there for more. There is a lot to do, see, and interact with here. Water room was a favorite space that we went back to a couple times. Would be here a lot if we lived more local to it.
  • Small and too many exhibits didn’t work at all and were clearly broken. Can understand one being broken since we came an hour after opening, but three? And it didn’t look like anyone was working to fix them. Update: I wrote this about halfway through the museum. It is not small at all. Also, I appreciate that the museum has gone through to work on things quickly after the review. I recommend making sure that staff, even weekend staff, are checking those things before you open. We drove 2.5 hours to come to the museum. So we were disappointed with our experience. I am upgrading my review to four stars, not because of the free passes offered but because they were willing and able to make the changes. I will take you up on the free passes the next time we are in Lansing. Thank you.
  • What a fun and awesome place to explore with kids of all ages. Two Water tables that go beyond the label , toddler room that is just right for them to explore. And so much more. Very affordable with discounts for parents on assistance.
  • Such a fun place to take kids on cold or rainy days. The membership is the way to go at Impression 5. I love that they make most of the exhibits onsite and are always getting new stuff so it never gets stale. A real treasure for the Lansing area.
  • My kids are bigger kids now but at 12 and 9 still had a lot of fun here for the afternoon and probably understood a lot of things better than they did when we visited in previous years. One of my favorite hands on kids museums.
