Great trails, well marked. Nothing too difficult. Great place to spend the day! Rangers in visitor center very helpful too.

Great family friendly hike. Trails are well maintained, there are multiple spots along the way to take a rest on a bench under a tree. Or group had ages 3-40 and they all enjoyed the hike. Visitor center was informative, rangers were very thorough with their information, and the restrooms were clean. There is a 5 parking fee and it can get busy in a weekend. We just went to dripping springs, next time we’ll do the path to the sanatorium.

still a great place to take a hike or run as a trail. The road is gravel and has a light to moderate incline, hiking shoes or tennis shoes with small grips on bottom are good. The trail is about 1 1/2 to 2 miles to the spring. There was a small amount of water coming out as there has not been a lot of rain or snow on the mountain. But some of the most beautiful scenery and relaxing area to go to. There are also small benches along the way to stop and rest. Great history stories along the way as well, they also have a great map that you place a pin into in order to show where you are from. Definitely a place to visit.

Nice drive from El paso. Great for a quick hike too. Beautiful and not too crowded (although I went on a weekday) parking is $5. Visitors center was open and the volunteers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable on other areas to visit *note first 5 pics are from Sept 2021 - last 2 are from Feb 2022*

My experience was amazing especially that my eldest brother was with me we actually got to see some beautiful family of deer and it was a wonderful weather for the hiking trail of course I took pictures but my cellphone doesn't do justice on what my eyes, mind and soul felt taking nature all in this day 8/30/22 a day after my birthday it was a great hike and seeing everything for the first time out there all the way to the end of the trail to were there's a sign that says entering fort bless, and don't remember the rest but the other sign said warning keep out live fire rang , well it was a blast. Hope ever one will to .

Beautiful area with visitors' center. RV parking for the center. Be aware there is a $5 fee for driving up to that area and stopping (or use your annual pass). Cueva picnic area. This is a great place for photos, especially in rain and snow! Great in sunshine, too. Closed at sunset. I have seen the gate closed on some holidays as well but I don't know the actual policy about closures.
