  • We stayed here 5 days in mid January. Very quiet campground with spacious sites to fit large rigs. Water and electric on reservable sites for $14. Some first come sites. Nice hiking trails all around campground. Clean shower and restrooms. Mountain View’s but can be very windy.
  • Good state park with hiking trails along the Rio Grande. Water is only in the river once they release it. Very clean campground and facilities. Lots of birds at the river.
  • Great spot! Cute little Adobe shelters with picnic bench. Water. Large sites. Easy in and out. We're in a promaster and an SUV pulling a uhaul and we fit just fine.
  • Stayed here in late September when there was no water in the river. Stayed at site 14 which has a beautiful view but is the furthest from the showers. It was very well kept and the campground host was very kind. I took my dog with me and did have the issue of stickers and burs getting stuck to his paws and fur. Otherwise a great camping experience, peaceful and quiet.
  • Very nice, quiet park. Trails are easy to walk on for all ages. Appears to be a popular camping destination. We visited during the week and there were lots of campers. Easy to find near the CanAm Highway exit. Right next to Fort Sheldon Historical Site which would be of interest to small children. Clean bathrooms with plumbing.
