A very enjoyable easy day hike just east of Las Cruces. Highlight is the box canyon and (occasional) waterfall at the end of the trail. Free parking - no fee, but it can get a bit crowded weekends.

Came across this hike on Google Maps and really loved it. The trails on Google Maps aren't entirely accurate but AllTrails is. I recommended taking your first right when the path splits and then navigating towards the trail to the falls. It's not easy to get lost or anything! Falls were a trickle when I was there in March but still beautiful. The rock formations were my favorite! And it's free.

Fantastic and beautiful hike at Organ Mountains National Monument. Well marked trail, climbs gradually from the parking lot leading to a box canyon with a pretty little waterfall. Wonderful 3.2 mile trail. Loved our hike and highly recommend.

This was a beautiful hiking area with multiple trails. We enjoyed spectacular views from the base of the Organ Mountains. It has free admission and no restrooms. Make sure you take a restroom break before you get there.
-
Beautiful trail a little over 3 miles to a small waterfall at the end. Very rocky trails but not difficult
-
Very pleasant surprise waterfall at the end of the trail! And we were able to climb up to the side of the waterfall.
