At 3,632 m (11, 918 ft) tall, summiting the mountain provides spectacular views of downtown Las Vegas and the surrounding area all the way to California and Utah. Hike the trails through bristlecone pine forests, and enjoy the sight of limestone cliffs and wildflowers. Trail options vary in difficulty. Two trails are available for mountain biking, and most are suitable for exploring on horseback. In the winter, trails are used for guided snowshoe hikes. The site offers interpretive programs most of the year, plus popular night hikes and art workshops.
