Tons of slots and table games, slots seemed to be a little looser than others on the strip. Plenty to eat and drink.

We have stayed here a dozen or so times and have always had a good time. The food court has plenty of options to choose from and the casino has enough games that we can play for hours. The arcade is a great spot for kids and even adults. The roller coaster is awesome according to the kids and my spouse. The rooms are always clean and we have had the basic rooms on up to their suites and have always had a great experience.

Of the themed casino resorts on the strip, NYNY is the best looking inside and out in my opinion. Food vendor area has noir-era New York look and is enjoyable to walk around. The Big Apple Roller Coaster was my favorite ride on the strip. It's not centrally located on the strip, but not to bad with easy access to MGM Grand, Park MGM, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. Room was dated but nice, and the hot tub was honestly very nice to soothe the joints after a long day of walking. Mobile check in was easy enough, as was self parking. The next time I stay in Vegas, I'd be likely to choose it again.

Pros- 1-early app check-in which I did 24 hours before and when I arrived had my electronic key available on my cell. Glad I didn’t have to make that long line at the reception desk 2- great food and atmosphere by the casino. Loved the NY feel and layout of the restaurants Cons - 1- Rooms are outdated. Room struggled to stay cool although I lowered AC to 65. Kept blinds closed to help but I hate having a dark room unless it’s nighttime. Seems AC needs to also be updated. Ad says luxurious but didn’t see anything luxurious in room or bathroom. 2-walls are paper thin. Heard a woman coughing the whole night at the next room and folks in the hallway getting ice which was across my room at 3am. 3- there was a smell coming out from Bathroom vent. Almost like a sewer smell 4- charges resort fee which online says illegal 5- didn’t realize when I booked no fridge or microwave. I guess this is how they get you to spend money downstairs in their food court area. I wanted to be able to heat leftover food and or keep drinks cold without resorting to ice Overall would not stay there again but it was doable

This hotel has a nice atmosphere the gaming section is vast with a high ceiling and offers many non gaming services. The roller coaster of course is a unique added attraction. It can get very busy especially when there is a game on at the T-Mobile arena. We were there for thanks giving week so we saw a huge fluctuation in people. It is of course very spectacular from the outside with its New York style skyline. It's a good start point for a tour of all the big hotels on the strip. The rooms themselves are good in size but relatively basic in amenities. No coffe making facilities, mini bar etc. But I suppose this is deliberate. The food is quite expensive in the restaurants but this is to be expected at Vegas. There are some free drinks and stuff available for the gamblers only. The rooms could do with a bit of a freshen up but they are clean and the towels are changed every day. Most time is spent elsewhere so not a big deal.

Even though we paid for an early check in, we were able to check in even earlier than that, and catch an upgrade to a spa room in the process. A spa + your sweetie + Nectar bubble bath = fun! The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet (the coaster was outside our window, but we didn't hear or feel it), the elevators were quick. Sure the casino flood smelled of cigarette smoke, but our room didn't. There were many food and beverage options, including the attached Hershey's store. We walked a lot, and thankfully the MGM Grand and Excalibur were connected by a bridge, as we attended events at both casinos. We rode the Deuce bus a lot, as this property is located at the end of the strip. The roller coaster was fun, albeit jarring. There's a reason that Six Flags has a padded rotating shoulder harness instead of the rubber one used here... its so you don't get slammed back into your seat after moments of weightlessness... mommy
