  • A perfect sunny October hike! Return via Cascades Foot Trail and you'll actually hike past several waterfalls much more impressive than the Kings Creek Falls. On the way back to the campground after going to the visitors center and Bumpass Hell, our group decided on this "easy" jaunt through the forest. It is relatively short round-trip (only 2-3 miles), but be prepared for a steep, dusty trail. Most of the hike winds through the husks of burnt trees, making the hike more unique and imposing. I thought the Kings Creek Falls overlook rather disappointing (though we came late afternoon when it was in the shadows). However, hike back via Cascades Foot Trail (the one-way trail segment) and you'll find the hike more than worth the sweat and dust. Go in October (if weather allows) for splendid Fall colors.
  • Good little falls.. Hike is about 2.8 miles..!! Parking is packed on weekends..!! Lot of burned trees in trail during July 2022 due to 2021 fire..!!
  • To get the great views and experience you need to go great distance! We just kept walking along the creek but there was no sign of falls! It was after few miles we got to hear the sound. Getting to the bottom of the falls was little tricky. But, its manageable. This is a must do Hike while in Lassen Volcanic Park.
  • This places is poorly masked, so can be difficult to find driving. The hike was hard for me but the view at the end was amazing.
  • One of the most beautiful hikes in the park. Taking the stairs back up on the way back gives you even more views of the falls and creek you would miss otherwise. The hike back is up hill, just keep in mind this is at a high elevation so it makes it a bit more strenuous.
