Lawrence Public Library, Lawrence

The library is a good library with a decent catalog of items. The librarians are so nice and helpful especially with my daughter. We use to love spending a lot of time there over the years. Sadly we no longer feel safe with visiting or spending time there for very long. We only visit the library with my husband and very rarely leave his side unless we go to the children's section. The problem that causes this feeling of fear are loud and rude and talk about things that my child should not be hearing. They gather in large groups outside and prevent you from using the lawn and even the parks around the library. Maybe one day we'll be able to go the library and enjoy it like we use to.

Great place to study It has some disturbing things but overall it is very good

It was impressive! I've never seen so many programs and such in a library before. This is a place that would keep kids, teens and adults busy!

A wonderful place to spend time with your children! Great librarians and story time is always a blast.

Incredible place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Awesome adult, teen and kids literature and spaces. My wife and I were passing thru while on our way home to Colorado- now we don’t want to leave! We will be returning.
