We had a great time at our tasting at Port Leonardtown Winery with Michael. There was a variety of wines and all we tried were tasty. Very enjoyable!

Great winery. Very tasty wines. The employees are very helpful and friendly. Business hours are great. I can visit on a weekday, which is nice for someone who works on the weekends.

Love the friendly staff and our door seating area. I love coming and sitting outside with some friends or under the covered and heated sun room when it’s cold.

Stopped by with friends for wine tasting. For a Saturday it was an awesome experience. We ended up buying the Vidal Blanc and got some food from the food truck called Heidi’s Eats and Sage’s treats. Kailie who was our wine tasting expert was well cast about the every aspect of the wine we were tasting and made the experience a fun and educational one. They had live music playing and the overall atmosphere was just friendly and jazzed. I think I found a new place for my once a month wine treat. You will like this place.

Such a fun space! Love the idea of having a wine tasting room in a park. We visited on a chilly but sunny afternoon, and enjoyed sitting outside at their picnic tables where we could hear the live music coming from inside. Southern Maryland is not known for its wine, and this wine was pretty consistent with other things I have had from the area, but I opted for mulled wine and it was very tasty with the added spices and aromatics. Would definitely enjoy many an afternoon here if I lived in the area.

I am not a big wine drinker. My sister-in-law who lives in St. Mary's County suggested a visit while we were in town. I wasn't sure about it since we were traveling with our teenage sons. The boys actually enjoyed the visit and really liked the lawn Jenga. I wish I could remember his name, but the staff member who did our tasting was great. I really only like super sweet wines when I have wine. He customized the tasting especially for me. What he offered and suggested was spot on for my liking. Additionally he did two different tastings for the other 3 people in our party. Highly recommend. You could spend just a few minutes or a few hours. Of note, you are not visiting a huge vineyard, just a storefront offering tastings and an outdoor area to enjoy a glass or two of wine. The vineyards are a co-op of locally sourced grapes.

I have nothing but positive things to say! My husband and I had our anniversary date here this evening and enjoyed some delicious white & red wines as well as their sangria slushy! Everyone was very knowledgeable and kind, the atmosphere was nice as well. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely tasting experience. The dry reds are marvelous and the port is one of the best I've ever had. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! 🍾🍷
