  • Loved that we came when we did to see all the new foals. Our tour guide was wonderful and I loved that we got to feed the horses. Great must do experience.

  • This was a great tour of all aspects of a horse farm. We saw stallions, pregnant mares, newborn foals, one month old foals with their moms that we got to pet, colts, and phillies, watching them run...

  • So interesting! And fun to feed carrots to the horses! Our guide, Mary Paige, was so informative and approachable. She answered all questions.

  • Tia, our tour guide, was fantastic! She gave a wonderful and well thought out tour. The farm is unbelievable and has such a rich history that I highly enjoyed learning about! The horses are stunning and very friendly! We got to touch them and feed the horses. I could not have been more thrilled with my experience at mill ridge farms!
  • TAKE THIS TOUR! This is a breeding farm. You will see beautiful mares and their foals. They come up to the fence and let you feed them so you get a close view of them. Tia, the tour guide is not only an employee but a client of Mill Ridge. Her mare is there as well so you know she loves the place. We took our grandchildren who were mesmerized the whole time. Great tour!
  • Our tour with Sarah today was great! Very cold and windy but the horses were loving the weather! Got to feed carrots and pet horse noses. Best tour ever! Even got to say “Hi” to Price without being hidden behind a mask! Perfect day! See you next May!
  • What a beautiful farm!!! We took the tour and our guide was very knowledgeable. Being able to feed and pet the Mares and foals was really amazing. It was truly awesome to be able to feed their Stallion Oscar, he was very cool. He came running when we shook the carrot bags. 😂
  • We were in Kentucky for the Bourbon Trail, races at Keeneland and time with friends. This horse farm was a delightful surprise to our trip! Tia, our host, greeted us and shared the wonderful history of the farm, Alice and the winners who have come through Mill Ridge. But more than that, Tia truly shared her passion for the horses and the nursery process the employ here. We loved learning more with a hands on experience of feeding the horses and meeting Headley, the owner of the farm. Oscar Performance, the stallion of the farm, was beautiful but I recommend touring in the morning to see him in the paddock! Ha was already in his barn when we arrived at 3:30. Be sure to visit the gift shop and know that you are experiencing the best of a Kentucky horse farm here!
