Kauai Backcountry Adventures, Lihue

We had a blast on the tubing adventure. Our guide Mason was fantastic, fun, knowledgeable, musically gifted, and genuinely friendly and kind. He made this activity the highlight of our trip to Hawaii. Not strenuous. A lot of fun. Highly recommend. Bring cheap water shoes (Amazon.) If you're having trouble securing a reservation keep trying their website. It took me trying 6 times per day for a week until I found some spots that opened up, and I'm so glad I persisted.

We were able to experience the tubing adventure with Sherri as our guide. She was amazing. Disney's jungle cruise skippers could learn a thing or two from Sherri. She was so funny and made the whole experience worth every penny. She shared great insights and history into the landscape on the way up to the tubing, and then favored us with ukulele and singing the whole way down stream. If we ever make it back to Kauai, the trip will not be complete without doing this adventure again! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

What a wonderful experience!!! These guys are pros! The water was refreshing and invigorating early in the morning. I was very impressed with how well they controlled to group of wild tourists barreling down a water shoot. Their knowledge and stories were perfect. Would recommend to anyone going to Kauai.

An amazing experience! Our primary guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared fun facts about the area and history that kept everyone's attention Our safety guidelines were key and explained to us in an enjoyable was to ensure we all understood what was to come I highly recommend this excursion of you're looking for something a little different. All ages in our group had a blast!

I loved this adventure, tubing down the old Hawaiian canals. The ride up the mountain was beautiful. The guides were funny and friendly. Floating down the canals was gorgeous and exciting. The canal didn't run fast. It wasn't dangerous at all. In our group there was an 8 year old floating with he mother. Our entire family went and loved it. I would totally take advantage of this adventure. The best!
