Memorial Stadium, nicknamed The Sea of Red, is an American football stadium located on the campus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. The stadium primarily serves as the home venue for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Memorial Stadium was built in 1923 at a cost of $450,000 and a capacity of 31,080 to replace Nebraska Field, where the Cornhuskers played home games from 1909 to 1922. The first game at the new stadium was a 24–0 Nebraska victory over Oklahoma on October 13, 1923. A series of expansions raised the stadium's capacity to 85,458, but attendance numbers have in the past exceeded 90,000. Nebraska has sold out an NCAA-record 389 consecutive games at Memorial Stadium, a streak that dates back to 1962.

  • good food for ballgames. Of course it's runza in Nebraska. Not ready for alcohol but it seems to happen at the stadium anyway.

  • Huge football fan and this place was pretty cool to see. You have easy access to view the field/stadium from a small section via gate 23a. Sign in and you can see the national title trophies, heisman trophies, and other awards. I enjoyed my visit.
  • Incredible stadium- loud and proud Husker fans, no where else you want to be on game day. It was the most remarkable experience and we will definitely be going again this year. We tailgate before and then enjoy the food from the vendors once we are inside and the game starts.
  • I have always wanted to visit the University of Nebraska Memorial Stadium and it was better than expected. The history and energy in this place was amazing. Nebraska fans are passionate and were kind to us Sooner fans. If you are a college football fan, this is a must visit place you need on your list.
  • Seats are very small and tight, concourse areas are dumpy. Restrooms are not nice. It’s what you’d expect for an old stadium. Atmosphere, however, was not as amazing as expected, could be because of a Nebraska loss. Still fun to visit and get the win!
  • Memorial Stadium is the ultimate college football venue. It holds about 90,000 people with room for about 75,000 so prepare to be squished. With that in mind, it's a must-visit if you're a college football fan and your team is coming to town. Enjoy!
