Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum, Lindsborg

Very large museum! Much bigger than expected. They had all the out buildings open. Really well kept. Easy access to the buildings and exhibits. Great information on each building. We had a great time. Had a large family group from 3 years old - 70. Everyone found it interesting.

Outside it's just gorgeous they were closed when we came in but that will be another adventure when they're open to take. We stopped off and got hamburgers and came to this little Park next to the mill to eat our burgers. The sound of the river going over the little dam, birds singing and the temperature was awesome not too hot and not too cold. We simply had the windows down and was able to enjoy what nature had to offer.

I've toured some mills before, but this one has a lot going on. On top of that, entrance into the mill also gives you entrance to the small village across the way. Well worth a visit. Plan on an hour.

Very interesting self guided tour, beautifully preserved historical mill interior, fascinatingly complex production process. Great little gift and reproduction Victorian postcard selection. More historical attractions across the street, including the huge Swedish pavilion from the 1904 World's Fair, moved to, and reassembled at, this location. Definitely recommend.

A little slice of Sweden in Kansas. Check out the old mill. Nice museum of old farming implements and a replica 19th century town. 5 bucks entry fee.
