  • Lovely place for a picnic and watching the cranes come in at sunset. Bring binoculars. Check the season as they are mainly there in the winter. End of February is end of Crane season. Also, listen.....  more

  • The land is basically off season rice paddies. There are so many birds that it was loud as a rock concert. When they came in, it looked like a dark cloud until it got close enough to see that it was.....  more

  • I wouldn't make a special trip but I like this spot. They have a visitor space to park but you're pretty far away from any birds. Your best bet it to drive to the end of the road and look in the fields to see what's out that day.. Then head to Staten Island Rd.
  • It was a great place to observe birds in the area and there were others there who also enjoy this activity - it was fun to meet them. The local Audubon folks were there to help too.
  • Great place to view the Sandhill Cranes. The reserve requires a fee so check the site. Also.the take the road further west for other viewing opportunities.
  • I absolutely love bird watching at Woodbridge. In the fall/winter watching the Sandhill Cranes, the Canadian Geese , assorted ducks, beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
  • Feb 27.. went in to off-season… no cranes.. still it’s a beautiful place
