  • Great hike and a mile and a quarter in length. Hike down in and then up along the ridge. Stone bridge and cliffs viewing. Bathroom and nice paved parking. So want a rim hike but not a long one...

  • My favorite of the Hocking Hills trails because of the views. Also less crowded. Trail is more rugged than the others, though. Parts are smooth and level but you have to hike from the gorge base to...

  • Beautiful October morning hike with changing leaves. Quite a few steps and elevation changes. Definitely worth your time!

  • Such a magical place to see! I've been hiking this area since I was a child. Definitely a must see place if you're in the area. The hike takes about 45 minutes and it is a loop. It is quite steep in areas. Dogs are allowed and I take my 2, but they're well trained. I wouldn't take a dog that pulls or isn't trained on the trails in this area.
  • Amazing hike and beautiful rocks. The trail is definitely not average difficulty, but my wife and I completed it safely. We're not exactly experienced hikers, but have some experience. Portions were challenging, but we we're rewarded with spectacular views.
  • Cantwell Cliffs is such a wonderful hike! It's got so much to see, the entrance is so phenomenal! The stones and steps just add that middle earth feel! Many places here made me feel that way. The Trail is uneven in spots and you really need to watch your foot placement on some of the stairs but don't let that hold you back!
  • One of my favorite spots in Hocking Hills Beautiful hiking area with trail along the rim and through the gorge. The trails are rocky, and have a couple hill climbs. Not wheelchair accessible at all. Watch your kids on the rim trail - it's right on the edge of the cliff tops. There is are restrooms and picnic shelters near the parking lot.
  • Very technical hiking. Not doable if you're a couch potato! Very rugged with steep elevation changes on the trail. The trail is however very short. Good hiking shoes with good traction an absolute must! But.... Absolutely beautiful if you can handle the rest.
