  • Took the grands out there for a go kart ride. They loved it. The guy running the the track was really fun waving the different flags for the kids and making it really special. Lotus of fun for them.

  • We had a great time booking with Hocking Hills Adventures. We booked a shorter trip the day we went. The river was calm and relaxing. My son and I rented a tandem kayak on this trip and we loved it. The souvenir shop was full of cute shirts and trinkets. We ended up buying some really cool stuff there. The staff was super friendly and informative. We will definitely book again when we come back and will also book the longer trip.
  • We did the Crockett's Run Tour. We did the 9 am float. It said to be there a half hour early, but that was not needed for the first float of the day. Staff arrived at 8:50. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The parking is in a field on the land next to the the main building. You take a small foot bridge over to the waiting area. They had restrooms on site, fitted us for life vests and paddles and took us to the drop off site. They helped us get into the canoe safely and sent us on our way. There had been quite a bit of rain before our canoe trip so the water was higher than normal, but made it so we didn't have to get out of the canoe to move it when it bottomed out (which happens a lot in the summer) There were some little rapids which made it fun. Due to the higher water, our trip was about 1.5 hours It was very peaceful. There were a few limbs in the water which made it fun to navigate around them. The water was very clear in some places and there was little trash along the river. Overall a GREAT trip. Would suggest trying it! We will be back!
  • Get place to stay if you don’t want to spend a lot but have the necessities. My boyfriend and I stayed two nights for our anniversary on an electric campsite, in total we spent $74. This campsite had very nice bathrooms/ showers. Sometimes there’s a line for the bathrooms but if you go at an odd time you should be fine. They also have mini golf and a fun center for kids. The only thing that didn’t meet my expectations is the “beach” near the primitive campsites. There’s not much of anything there.
  • Our site was very spacious and pretty level. It is not a paved campsite so you have more freedom to set your campsite up in the way that best fits for you. The site was mud-free even though it rained heavily for a couple days straight. There is plenty to keep you busy. The putt-putt was great fun for the adults and grands. The splash pad and bounce pad were also hits with the kids. The adults raced the go-carts and all had a great time. The staff is very nice and helpful. We did not kayak or canoe due to the amount of rain. We plan to go back next year and will definitely kayak then.
  • Our family had a wonderful time camping with Hocking Hills Adventures. Upon arrival, the woman working at the front desk saw that a larger campsite with more shade was available and she offered to move us there at no extra charge. The sites were flat, shaded and quiet (especially important to us, camping with a 6 month old baby). The site also had great cell phone service, which a lot of places in the area do not. We will definitely be back!
