Lake Logan State Park, Logan

This is a beautiful park. Beach is pristine. A family bathroom is available but don’t expect much from it since it’s not well maintained. The gift shop and info center was convenient. Reasonable price for some kids things and drinks. Some snacks, ice cream and drinks available too too. The paddle boats were $40 per her and boats with motors were $50. The kayaks were cheaper though. You or kids can play or swim but keep in mind there’s no showers or any water available to rinse off. We used our own portable water. The ground seem pretty good except duck poop everywhere. Crowd wasn’t bad on weekdays. We didn’t have to wait for anything. As in any other parks- No alcohol.

We always come back to Lake Logan area. This time we did a Pontoon trip with the new family members (the puppies) they have improved their service even more at the Marina, friendly people guide you and it is very refreshing to stop by 😃

In February, my friends and I rented a cabin in Logan Ohio for the weekend. As an amateur wildlife photographer, I was hoping to find a spot where I could take some pictures and the beach at Lake Logan didn’t disappoint. While the lake was partially frozen, we found mallard ducks, Canada geese, swans, and this magnificent bird. I can’t wait to check this place out in warmer months!

Lake Logan is a fairly small lake for renting a boat for any length of time unless you are fishing or swimming. There is a designated swimming area but no shoreline, you must swim right off the boat. Because of it's size I think it's a better lake for paddle board and kayaking. There is a sandy beach for swimming.

Yesterday we drove over to Lake Logan State Park and checked out the park and marina there. Its free to enjoy!! There is a public boat ramp and fishing with license. There are picnic tables along with a swimming beach. Today was so lovely and the views were very nice.
