Aloha Brothers Surf Lessons, Los Angeles

Easy to book, great communication, great lesson, Awesome day on the waves. My wife and I have both always wanted to surf, but living in Nebraska has prevented that. Sean made the experience of learning incredibly fun! He gave great tips, and good direction once we were in the water. Getting on the waves and actually going from catching the wave to standing and riding to shore became easier and easier each passing wave. There were 4 of us in our lesson and we still got over 10 passes each. Wonderful day, great atmosphere at Venice Beach and we will DEFINITELY do it again!

10000% recommend! Nick was a delight to coordinate with. Quick to respond, accommodating with scheduling, and incredibly friendly and professional. Danny was a dream instructor. Knowledgeable, patient, calm, personal, and fun. In 3 lessons I faced some real fears, gained foundational skills, and had so so so much fun. Paddling out past the break on my last lesson and catching a real wave was so empowering and memorable. I want to take more lessons soon!

We loved our lesson! Sean was such a patient, encouraging teacher for my husband and me, who were complete beginners. He educated us not just on surfing but also on understanding the waves and reading the tide. Our experience with Aloha Brothers has definitely inspired an excitement to keep at it!

Have done two lessons with Aloha Brothers now, both awesome experiences. Did a great private lesson with Brian to help me get back on my feet and a group lesson with Christopher for my groomsman as a gift to them. Both were great, and Nick was super responsive and helpful in getting everything set up. 5 stars all the way

Nick was a super coordinator - extremely communicative, transparent and accommodating. Our instructor Nicole was a total rockstar and managed each of us at different levels seamlessly. It was also so good having a female instructor who could tailor the instructions to our physical needs. She was super supportive and encouraging - it felt safe and motivating and she gave us focused tips one by one without overwhelming us. It’s rare to find female instructor and she’s a rad benchmark! NICOLE FOR THE WIN!!!
